I am a lifelong educator 31 years. This is my second year as the Executive Director of Personnel Services for USD 475. I have been a high school math teacher for 12 years and I have served in an administrative role for 17 years prior to Geary County Schools. My administration experience has been in the very near area. Beginning in 2004 to 2010 I was a 5-12 principal at Blue Valley Randolph, and for the last 11 years I was employed by Wamego, USD 320 as the HS principal for 6 years and the superintendent for 5 years. My wife Kerri and I live in Geary County near Milford Lake. In my years at Wamego, I served on many boards, but most notably the Wamego Chamber of Commerce for 6 years. During those 6 years, I served as the treasurer for 4 years, the board chair for one year, and volunteered at many events. I have also taken part in the regional leaders' retreat for the Flint Hill Area for several years.
