We have several volunteer opportunities throughout the year with our office and many of our partner agencies.

Current volunteer opportunities:

United Way of Junction City/Geary County (Please fill out the volunteer form below with interests)

  1. Office aid – help with uploading documents to help us go paperless.  This is an open time position from Mon – Fri 10 am – 2 pm.
  2. Do you have tech skills?  We are looking for someone who can help with our social media and build short videos for campaign and events.
  3. Allocation Volunteers – Are you curious how United Way works with our partners and how they utilize the donations that are received?  If so, we would love to have you on our Allocation Panel.  Each panel member will be assigned a day and time to interview 3-4 agencies who are applying for funding.  This position does take a little time so that each volunteer is fully familiar and equipped to help with Allocations.  If you would like more information, please contact our office and ask for Allocation Training.
  4. Stories – We want to hear how our office or one of our partner agencies has positively impacted you or your family’s life.  Names will be left out if the author does not wish to be known.
