Volunteer Opportunities
Raking leaves, mowing lawns, shoveling snow, yard clean-up.
Your information will be shared with the Meals on Wheels. They will contact you for sign-up information and availability.
Intake/Greeter Preparer Translator
July - Aug Multiple dates and times. You will receive an email in June with sign-up link to pick your time.
April/May Multiple dates. You will receive an email in February with the sign-up link.
Mon-Friday 9am-3pm Work as little as 2 hours, or more. Basic tasks, answering phones, folding brochures, helping with Dolly Parton Imagination Library, greeting customers.
Feb - March Volunteers pick one panel to assist with. Interview agencies, review applications, and make funding suggestions.
Your information will be shared with the programs that offer Community Meals - Episcopal Church, Magdalene Project, and Live Well Geary County.
This could include overnight help, office, cleaning, sorting, etc.
There may be age/background requirements. Your information will be shared with the Crisis Center and CASA.
Some requirements - age/background if with children. Your information will be shared with YMCA and Special Olympics.
Please share what hobbies you like or your availability. We will help you find a spot perfect for you!

We provide support to the community through partnerships and direct services.
