Linda has been part of Junction City since she started working for Exchange Bank as a Commercial Loan Officer in 2006 (formerly known as the First National Bank of Junction City). Prior to that, she worked at Fort Riley National Bank—now part of Armed Forces Bank. She grew up in the Manhattan area and graduated from Manhattan Area Technical College.
She worked at Kansas State University, Fort Riley, and Tri-County Telephone in Council Grove before getting into finance becoming the Vice President of Lending at Golden Plains Credit Union in Garden City. She moved back to the Manhattan area worked for First National Bank of Wamego. Throughout the years, she has served as: a Board member or Deacon at her churches, a volunteer for area Chambers of Commerce, and as a member Optimists and Rotary. While in Garden City she was heavily involved with Special Olympics. Today, her volunteer work continues as Treasurer of the Pacesetters. She has previously been involved with United Way—now serving a third time on the Board.
