Kansas native grew up in Wakefield. Moved to Junction City in 2000. In 2001, married Bruce Mader and had two boys, Julius and Jason. Graduated from Barton County Community College in 2013 with an Associates in Science, went on to Kansas State University. Graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor's in Family Studies/Human Services. Obtained Masters in Adolescent Psychology from the Chicago School of Psychology.
In 2015 while working on my Bachelor's Degree, I became the K-State student intern for the United Way of Junction City/Geary County. During my internship, I was fortunate to work with the previous director, Ailleen Cray. Under her mentorship and guidance, I was able to work with some of the many wonderful agencies and those who run them.
I will continue to work with United Way of Junction City/Geary County and the fight for the education, financial stability, health, and security of every person in Geary County.
