Aletha Holliday is an active duty service member stationed at Ft. Riley Kansas. She has a passion to support and help others. Aletha is a chef by trade and has supported teh community through endeavors in cooking. Stationed at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, she supported the Bridge Outreach in Saint Louis, Missouri by volunteering in the kitchen, assisting the chef in preparing meals for the local community. She has also had the privilege to sponsor and mentor a young student and mother in East St. Lois through her final year of school. Aletha volunteered at the Christian Activity Center in East St. Louis giving health cooking classes to the 5th and 6th graders. The classes ended with a 3-course meal seved to them while receiving lessons in etiquette.
While her and her family are members of the Geary County Community, she plans to support the United Way of Junction City in any way that she can. In December of 2019, she had the opportunioty and provilege to donate 100% of the proceeds from her private cooking business. This resulted in a $425 donation to support the Seal Project. Aletha is eager to continue to serve the Geary County residents.
