HOW IS GROCERY ASSISTANCE DISTRIBUTED?
After you complete your application, a member of the Catholic Charities or United Way of Junction City/Geary County team will review your application.
If it appears based upon the information your have submitted online that you are eligible for this program, you will be contacted by one of our team members who will ask some additional questions over the phone. Please ensure your contact information in this form is accurate.
Once approved, grocery store gift cards (Dillon’s, Wal-Mart, or Aldi's) will be sent to you via mail. Please ensure that your mailing address is accurate. We are not responsible for delivery times and or errors on the part of the USPS.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
All Geary County residents are eligible to apply receive a grocery gift card as a part of this program. Eligibility will be determined by the following factors:
Reduction of wages due to job status change
Number of individuals in the household and
Other household income available.
Application does not guarantee approval. Gift Cards will be reliant on funding availability. Families are only allowed to receive assistance once every 30 days.
